Tutoring is educational support provided outside of school hours to students whose families believe and agree that they need to improve their academic performance and/or their French. Tutoring sometimes becomes teletutoring (online tutoring) or mentoring (support provided by an experienced person in a professional development context).

Proofreading is the process of identifying and detecting potential errors in a text. It involves identifying spelling, grammar, syntax, or typographical errors to improve the clarity, flow, and overall quality of the writing. This work also helps ensure consistency of style, accuracy of vocabulary, and appropriateness of tone for the target audience or purpose of the document.
